Boye 4-in-One Crochet Hook Tool
I received this crochet hook as a gift and was so excited! I love new hooks and if I can take less stuff with me when I crochet on the go that is a bonus! However, I was a bit disappointed at the tool’s design.
DESCRIPTION:
4 crochet hooks (sizes E, G, I & K) that fold out from the handle, kind of like tools on a Swiss army knife. Also available in a quad of D, F, H, & J hook sizes.
PROS:
Lightweight as it’s made of aluminum and plastic
Convenient – no need to worry about losing a hook! Keep it in your glove box in the car or in your purse when you are stuck waiting at an appointment!
CONS:
The hooks do not “lock” once folded away from the handle and therefore fold in as you crochet. This can lead to hand stress due to the way you need to brace it in your hands when using it, especially if crocheting for a long amount of time.
